Shaft couplings are used in machines as a connection between two drive components that are generally aligned with each other. The couplings can accommodate all types of alignment errors and transfer the torque completely smoothly at high stiffness. They are used for highly accurate drives in the machine building, such as in the paper and graphics industry and plastic processing.
