Engineering Manual

This guide provides instructions for choosing the right uni-chains application. Instructions are given on the correct application in a design and final manufacturing.

The Unichains products have been devided into two seperate groups:

• uni Slat Top Chains
• uni Plastic Modular Belts

In general, the chains are fixed to fixed distances and they have a hinge with an SS pin. The tires on the other side can be assembled using small parts. This way, every width is possible. The tires have several hinges that pull the load. Thus, a band becomes stronger as they grow wider. Because there are differences in use and assembly between these two groups, separate sections are provided in the manual. These sections are specifically identified.
