Induction hardened spur gears offered by Sati are all manufactured in C45 steel with a pressure angle of 20° and are available from stock in the following modules: 2 – 2.5 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6. The advantage of a hardened gear is the longer life of the gear, but also the reduced wear of the chain itself.
