KTR-STOP caliper brake

The KTR-STOP^® floating caliper brakes having the benefit of being widely free from axial forces with regard to the brake disk. Even in case of misadjustment or a faulty installation a damage of the drive train is excluded. Here the bearing of the caliper is realized between springs for reason of supporting. In this way the brake caliper cannot block the brake disk so that a thermal overload is excluded.

• Clamping forces of up to 130 kN
• Short reaction periods subjects to the short distance between brake pad and brake disc as well as the low oil volume
• Big pad surface resulting in small surface pressure, little wear of pads and low temperature
