PTP PENCOflex pin and bush coupling

The PTP PENCOflex coupling consists of two cast iron hubs (female and male) on which pins are mounted with rubber bushes. The pins, made of ground steel, have a cylindrical shape to size 460. Pegs of sizes 145 to 200 are axially attached by a circular knob and a nut; The PENCOflex pencil clutch of sizes 235 to 460 by two circlips. Pin size 510 pins are tapered and attached by a screw and a washer. A circlip limits the vertical movement of the bush.

• Advantages of the PTP PENCOflex coupling

The PENCOflex coupling has high coupling capabilities and is therefore adapted to severe conditions. There is a large hub that provides increased drilling capacity. Due to the Fail Safe Design, the pen link is suitable for any security application. The buses run freely around pins. This reduces wear, which in turn results in longer life. Barrel-shaped elements with grooves, there is a limited reaction under load.

There are two variants of this link available.

1. PB version: with brake drum. This version consists of a standard female hub with a male hub with brake drum.
2. PD version: with brake disc. This version is made up of four parts. A standard female hub, an intermediate pen holder, a brake hub and a solid brake disc clamped between the two latter components.
